Holden Fletcher Fraser first gained attention as the son of Canadian and American actor Brendan Fraser. His father is well-known for his main parts in films ranging from comedy to dramas to blockbusters. Brendan rose to notoriety after playing Rick O’Connell in the Mummy trilogy.

Today’s essay will focus on Holden’s life rather than his famous father Brendan’s professional life. So, we’ll be answering all of Holden’s frequently asked questions. So, if you’re one of them, why not find out what you’ve been wondering?

Let’s get this party started!

Holden Fletcher Fraser Was A Wordsmith As A Child: How Old Will Fletcher Be In 2023?

On August 16, 2004, he was born. As of 2023, the star child is 18 years old. Although we know Brendan Fraser is his father, who is his mother? His mother, Afton Smith, is also an actor.

Moving on to his ancestors, he is the grandson of Peter and Carol Fraser. Catherine Mary Genereux and Arthur George Genereux are his great-grandparents.

Fletcher is also of mixed ethnicity because his father is Irish, Scottish, German, Czech, and French-Canadian. His mother, on the other hand, is of Caucasian heritage.

When it comes to his early life, Holden has had a gift for language since he was four years old. When he was a baby, he observed a blossoming tree and rushed to his father Brendan, saying,

“Daddy, it’s raining rose petals!”

What would he do as a father in that situation? Yes, his heart melted as he heard his son’s wonderful remarks.

His Academic Background

Although the media has shown glimpses of his youth, no information about his education has been published. Holden has not enrolled in any educational institution, however he may be attending a very private school.

His father, on the other hand, is a highly educated man. Upper Canada College and a prestigious boarding school in Toronto were both attended by the actor.
Siblings: Holden’s older brother was autistic.

Holden is more than just Brendan and Afton’s son. That’s accurate, he has two brothers: Griffin Arthur Fraser (born in 2002) and Leland Francis Fraser (born in 2006).

His older sibling, on the other hand, was born prematurely. Griffin was diagnosed with the autistic spectrum disorder (ASC). Even now, they have to give him extra attention and care, which he clearly appreciates.

Griffin was also said to be dead following Brendan’s 2023 Oscar speech, according to speculations in 2023.

Holden Fletcher Fraser’s Parents Met At A Party: Learn More About Their Marriage

Holden’s parents met through a common acquaintance, actress Winona Ryder. On July 4, 1993, the actress Ryder hosted a party at her home during their first meeting.

They are said to have developed an instant connection and fallen head over heels for each other. Holden’s parents married on September 27, 1998, some years after they began dating.

Their wedding ceremony was small and intimate, with only a few of their closest friends and family in attendance. For nearly a decade, the former couple was married.

Why Did Holden’s Parents, Brendan and Afton, Divorce?

Holden’s parents divorced in December 2007, when he was just three years old. They remained close friends even after their divorce. Many people were unaware of the facts behind their divorce, and some still are.

Brendan, the actor, revealed everything several years ago. When Holden’s parents were still together, his father faced numerous challenges, including the loss of his beloved mother, sexual abuse, and other issues.

Philip Berk, the former president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, harassed Brendan. According to reports, it was these painful experiences that prompted him to decide to divorce. Following the divorce, his father was compelled to pay $50,000 in monthly alimony for ten years, or until Afton remarried. Furthermore, Holden’s father used to pay $25,000 a month in child support.

Brendan, on the other hand, petitioned the court in early 2011 to lessen his alimony payment because he couldn’t meet the $600,000 yearly commitment. However, the court denied Fraser’s motion.

Holden Fletcher Fraser Gets Along Well With His Father

Although Holden does not live with both of his parents at the same time, he has a strong bond with both of them. He doesn’t miss seeing his father on any given day. In other words, if it means protecting his children’s lives, his father will even put himself in danger.

Holden’s father told PARADE in an interview,

“If I had to, I’d throw myself in front of a train for their sake.” That doesn’t mean you can shield them from everything, but you must make an effort.”

Brendan also always hugs and loves his sons, whether they want it or not. He would go home and hug his children after working on the film Extraordinary Measures, which is about a guy who is on the edge of losing his severely ill children.

Holden Fletcher Fraser was not enamored with his father’s profession as a child.

When Holden was four years old, his older brother Griffin was six, and their youngest, Leland, was two and a half. When they were kids, their father would always say he was going to work, and they’d wonder what he did.

The 54-year-old actor would tell his children that he gets paid to battle bad guys. In an interview with OK!, Holden’s father stated,

“When I tell them I’m leaving for work, they ask, ‘What do you do, daddy?'” ‘So, I beat the bad guys?’ ‘Would you like to borrow one of my light sabers?’ [laughs] ‘You know, I’d want to work with Han Solo.’ What?! Oh, and I was recently hired to work with Harrison Ford. Cool! Look at me, I’m becoming one of my children. Please don’t tell anyone!”

Brendan always found it enjoyable to teach his children. But they were often perplexed, and they soon came to despise their father’s vocation. However, they were only children at the time, so they now realize what their grandfather works for a living.

Is he following in the footsteps of his father?

Holden Fletcher Fraser is still in high school, therefore it is too early to predict whether he will follow in his father’s footsteps as an actor.

But, like any other star child, it wouldn’t be surprising if he opted to follow in his father’s footsteps.

Is Holden Fletcher Fraser on any social media platforms?

Holden isn’t on any social media platforms as of 2023. His parents, on the other hand, are both active on Instagram. Brendan, his father, has almost 140k followers. The majority of his photos and videos are of his professional activities.

Brenden rarely shares details about his personal life on his social media accounts.

Holden Fletcher Fraser is the multi-millionaire’s son.

Holden has not yet begun working professionally, thus he does not have his own bank account. He will soon be able to support himself, but for the time being, he is reliant on his father, Brendan, and mother. The actor’s net worth is predicted to be $20 million as of 2023, so it shouldn’t be too difficult for him to care for his baby.
