Golriz Ghahraman is an author, a member of parliament, and a politician from New Zealand who was born in Iran. 1981 was her birth year. In 2017, Ghahraman made history by becoming the first refugee to take the oath of office as a member of the New Zealand parliament. Golriz and her parents landed in New Zealand when she was nine years old, seeking asylum.

Golriz has worked as an attorney in New Zealand and at United Nations tribunals in Africa, the Hague, and Cambodia. She studied human rights law at Oxford. Her efforts include bringing leaders guilty of war crimes and genocide to trial, rebuilding communities devastated by conflict and violations of human rights, and empowering women leading peace and justice movements.

Golriz Ghahraman Dating History

Golriz Ghahraman keeps details about her partner and dating life under wraps. The Iranian politician’s focus right now is on her legislative responsibilities. Regarding her ongoing dating life, she has remained silent. Golriz has opted to keep quiet about her love life since their breakup, even though she used to be rather open about her personal life, particularly her romantic relationship with her ex.

It follows that the Green Party delegate is presumably single at the moment. In 2020, Golriz Ghahraman broke up with Guy Williams, her ex-boyfriend, over the New Zealand MP’s admiration life. She recently made a 2020 commitment to Guy Williams, her former beau. Famous for his popular show “Jono and Ben,” which ended in 2018, Mr. Williams is a well-known performer and TV personality.

He has been anchoring “New Zealand Today,” a show that offers a detailed look at the lives and events related to different cities and people in New Zealand, since about 2019. The people of New Zealand were entertained by the romantic relationship between a politician and a comedian who makes light of politicians and politics.

Guy and Golriz began dating in 2018, and they stayed together for a long time before calling it quits in late 2020. The couple reportedly lived together for a long time following their breakup, according to sources from Stuff NZ. Even after their split, their schedules—mostly their travel plans—kept them together as friends.

Golriz Ghahraman Partner In 2023

In 2020, Golriz Ghahraman revealed that she was a multiple sclerosis sufferer. It was also in that same following year that she called it quits on her relationship with comedian Guy Williams. Golriz has decided to keep quiet about her romantic situation despite everything that is going on. It’s unclear who she has been seeing recently.

She broke up with comedian Guy Williams, although rumors have it that they are still friendly. Golriz claimed that the ex-couple continued to live together for a few more months following their separation. “It was totally fine,” she continued. “Just because I am always traveling, he travels a lot too, and we have the cat.”

She is going to keep the cat, though. The politician said, “She doesn’t like Guy; she hates him.” Ever since she was a cat, she never did. I believe it’s because of how loud he is. Despite the pet’s apparent allegiance, Ghahraman claims that she and Williams are still friendly. She was candid about her previous relationship, but it didn’t work out.

She may not want to discuss her relationship status right now for this reason. Whether or whether they wish to share it is entirely up to them. Golriz’s privacy must be respected and should not be infringed upon, even if she chooses not to discuss it.
