Greg Hirsch’s grandfather, who resides in Canada, is Ewan Roy, the estranged brother of Logan Roy.

Logan’s moral, political, and theological opposites are Ewan. He vehemently disagrees with capitalism, businesses, and the environment. According to him, Logan is “morally bankrupt” and “more responsible for the death of this planet than any other human being,” and he vehemently disapproves of Logan’s economic and political strategies, which he tells his grandson Greg.

Ewan seems to cherish his family quite much. For instance, Logan still has a little amount of devotion for him out of sheer sibling love even if he detests Logan’s moral convictions.

Despite his intense disapproval of Greg working for Waystar Royco, he is frequently seen giving his grandson Greg opportunities and making an effort to help him.

This affection seems to be restricted to his immediate family; he calls Logan’s kids, his niece, and nephews “a nest of vipers” and appears disgusted among the rest of the Roy clan.

On Thanksgiving, Kendall asks Ewan if he would be prepared to oppose Logan in a vote of no confidence. Even though the two had just had a fierce dispute, Ewan replies that he would.

Details about Logan Roy’s brother Ewan Roy’s wealth

Ewan Roy, Logan Roy’s brother, reportedly has a massive net worth of $250 million.

In season two, he gives Greg, his grandson, the option of leaving Logan’s employ or having Ewan’s will nullified. Ewan allegedly leaks trade secrets to harm his brother’s reputation.

As a requirement for his participation in the HBO series, Cromwell—a steadfast supporter of racial equality, environmental protection, and animal rights—told the Guardian that his character had been altered to match his beliefs. I asked that we share some things, he said.

But before agreeing to appear in Succession, Cromwell stressed that Ewan’s opposition be moral during an hour-long talk with the show’s author Jesse Armstrong.

While Cromwell started his political engagement after being jailed during antiwar demonstrations in Washington, DC, in May 1971, Ewan participated in the Vietnam War.

Logan Roy and Ewan Roy’s age differences and families are discussed

Logan Roy’s younger brother is also named Logan Roy. Ewan was born in 1937, and Logan was born in October 1938. There is only around a year between their ages.

Ewan Roy was born into a humble household in Dundee, Scotland, before the Second World War. Rose, their younger sister, Ewan, and Logan were raised in poverty.

The children were to be raised in Quebec, Canada, by their widowed mother, who made the decision. Their uncle, Noah, who had a print business and a few billboards, and their aunt, who had a herd of cattle, raised them.

Logan claimed that their uncle Noah was extremely harsh and unreasonable. Ewan has never questioned this assertion or expressed an opinion about it. If it’s true, it makes sense that he would have experienced abuse akin to what his sibling did.

Ewan has been heard assuring Logan that Rose’s loss was not his fault, even though the specific circumstances of their sister Rose’s death remain unclear. Rose died while she was just a child.

Although Ewan regularly complains about everything Logan says or does, it is noteworthy that he doesn’t appear to hold Logan responsible for what happened to Rose despite his claim of culpability for Rose’s death.

Fifty years ago, Ewan enrolled in the military and served in Vietnam. He was one of 30,000 Canadians who battled communism in Vietnam. Logan rejects Ewan, even though he insists his reasons were patriotic, stating he just joined to please a local girl.
