Is Maria Souza Single? Relationship, Boyfriend

Maria has struggled to control her marriage despite having an excellent job. She wed Laird Hamilton in 1992. The couple enjoyed their three-year marriage very much. They separated and got divorced in 1995 after that. After her first marriage ended in divorce, she hardly ever appeared with anyone. There are no rumors that she is involved with another man. She decided not to be married again as a result.

The following nuptials will involve a volleyball player

Laird has found a new love with whom he can spend his life, even if Maria is not seeking a new man.

He is now dating Gabrielle Reece, a professional volleyball player, actor, and sportscaster from the United States.

She works as a fashion model and brand ambassador for Ebel Sportwave, Nike Sportswear, Dannon Light, eBags.com, and Pure Via in addition to her playing career.

The couple exchanged wedding vows on November 30, 1997.

The former spouse is a skilled surfer

Maria’s husband Laird was well-known as a surfer before going into the modeling industry.

Laird made headlines in 1990 as the first surfer to perform a 360-degree loop while still attached to his board.

Due to his regular surfing at a speed of 30 miles per hour, while standing 35 feet tall, her husband is regarded as an all-time great surfer.

However, he regards surfing as an artistic effort rather than having a professional career in it.

He was wary about taking part in surfing competitions because he was sick of seeing politics and the erratic luck of the waves at sanctioned Championships.

He is even credited with developing the foil board, which improved ocean surfing.

Children

Maria and Laird’s marriage resulted in the birth of one child. Their daughter is Izabella Hamilton. Her other stepchildren are Reece Viola Hamilton and Brody Jo Hamilton.

How did Maria Souza start his Professional Career?

At the age of 16, Laird quit high school to focus on a modeling career. Fortunately, when he was 17 years old, he was captured on camera by a photographer from the Italian Men’s Box Magazine L’Vomo Vogue. With the help of this inadvertent photo, he was able to secure a modeling contract and work with actress Brooke Shields on a photo session in 1983.

He has acted in movies like “North Shore” and “Moving Target,” most recently in “The Descendants” and “Point Break,” in addition to modeling. He has also had guest appearances on shows and documentaries including “Riding Giants,” “Water Man,” “Spirit of Evolution,” and many others.

Before learning how to surf at the age of 13, Maria used to perform gymnastics. Since then, she has been committed to her work. She was the first woman to plunge into Peahi, Maui’s notorious Jaws-like surf. Maria Souza has received training in almost all types of surfing. She used to instruct people in stand-up paddling, tandem surfing, foiling, windsurfing, kiteboarding, and Hawaiian canoeing.

She has now developed a specialty in huge wave surfing, stand-up paddling racing, SUP yoga, and SUP Downwind.

In addition to surfing, yoga, and paddling, she is a personal trainer for athletes and a physical and mental therapist.

She worked as a designer for an ocean wear company while attending college for a marketing program.
