American TV and radio personality Erik Kuselias, an Emmy winner, is best known for hosting the CBS Sports program Sportsline.

In addition, he has had positions with NBC Sports and ESPN, among other news organizations. In addition to his enormous career achievements, he is well-known as Holly Sonders’ ex-husband, a professional golfer.

How Much Is The Net Worth of Erik Kuselias?

His compensation is rather substantial because he has been a part of several popular TV and radio shows with prominent news networks. Regretfully, he has yet to disclose his yearly salary. His estimated net worth, according to sources, is between $3 and $5 million.

Erik Kuselias’s Age, Childhood, and Schooling

Erik was born in Hamden, Connecticut, on March 18, 1963, if information from sources is to be trusted. He will turn 60 in March of 2023, making him 59 years old as of 2023. He keeps quiet about his parents and hasn’t shared much details about them thus far. However, it seemed that he got along well with both his parents.

When it comes to his education, he attended Hamden High School. He played baseball and was a quarterback in high school, making two all-state teams. He majored in honors at Brown University following his high school graduation.

Kuselias continued his formal studies by enrolling in the University of Michigan Law School. He then completed his master’s and doctoral studies at Columbia University’s School of Journalism.

The Career of Erik Kuselia

He is considered to be among the most accomplished sports writers as of 2023. He has been employed with CBS Sports’ Sportsline since 2018. However, he worked for a number of different news networks before joining CBS as a reporter.

Along with his brother, he started his career as a host of the sports talk show The Sports Brothers in 2003. He soon after joined ESPN, where he carried on with the network’s The Sports Brothers program.

He carried on with the program until 2005, when Erik Kuselias took over as host. Luckily, it gained popularity and became one of the sports talk radio shows with the fastest growth, airing on more than 400 radio stations.

Finally, as the program gained popularity, ESPN extended an invitation to Erik to take the helm of NASCAR Now, a brand-new daily television program. He even received an Emmy nomination for Best Studio Show once the show became extremely successful.

His Other Projects

In 2008, Kuselias left NASCAR Now and started a new program called Fantasy Football Now. It won an Emmy in its very first year of broadcasting. In the interim, he also began working full-time in radio, hosting a number of ESPN TV shows, including SportsCenter, NFL Live, College Football Live, and Mike and Mike in the Morning.

Erik eventually quit ESPN in 2011 and started working for Golf Channel, an American sports television network. There, he launched and anchored Morning Drive, a brand-new program. He was promoted to NBC Sports in less than a year, where he co-hosted “ProFootball Talk” with Mike Florio.

In a similar vein, he was the host of Fantasy Football Talk. The Erik Kuselias Show, a morning show hosted by Erik, and the debut of the NBC Sports Radio network were both announced by NBC on August 4, 2012. Before joining up with Genesis Communications in 2016, he was involved with NBC TV and radio, where he hosted The Erik Kuselias Show.

Is Erik Kuselias already divorced or married?

There’s no escaping the media’s constant scrutiny of a celebrity’s romantic life. The situation with Erik, the CBS reporter, is the same. To address the inquiry, he has already experienced two divorces but is not currently married.

The 6-foot-1-inch fitness fanatic was previously wed to Kristen Kuselias, his first wife. Although the pair exchanged married in 2001, they were divorced in 2010—just like the majority of famous people.

Holly Sonders, a fitness model, golfer, and TV host, was the subject of his second marriage. In 2011, one year after divorcing Kristen, he wed Sonders. Before they eventually decided to split up in 2016, they had been together for more than 7 years. The couple has not disclosed the cause of their split.

Erik and Troy, their two children, were also welcomed into their blissful marriage. He has been able to keep the most of his children’s personal information out of the public eye.

Holly, his former spouse, is engaged to a new man

Few people are aware that Sonders, Kuselia’s ex-wife, started dating successful gambler Dave “Vegas Dave” Oancea after the couple split in 2016. The couple has been dating since the end of 2019. She surprised everyone in December 2019 by announcing their engagement.

A lovely picture of the proposal was shared by both of them on Instagram. At the beach at Playa Balandra, Mexico, Dave proposed to Holly.

She stated in the caption,

I never imagined that today would come.

As she described the moment Sonders fell in love with Dave,

I was deeply enthralled with Dave’s tale and his ability to overcome hardships and succeed in life, leading me to fall in love with him right away.

David Oancea has been residing at his parent’s house for the past few months in order to concentrate on his profession. Speaking with The Post about his choice to put his relationship with Holly at risk, he said,

Holly and I are still together, but for the past month and a half, I have been living back with my parents so that I can work more effectively from their home office and get a decent night’s sleep without interruptions. Thus, I’ve essentially given up on my friendship with a stunning woman.
