Details regarding David Muir’s marriage and relationship have piqued the interest of internet users. In this post, let’s learn more about the journalist’s personal life.

American journalist David Muir has worked for ABC News as an executive producer, correspondent, and anchor.

He is a well-known face on ABC News, one of the biggest television networks in New York City.

It’s interesting to note that Muir has won multiple prizes for his outstanding work, including national and international journalism Emmys and Edward R. Murrow awards.

The Tyndall Report states that in 2012 and 2013, he received the greatest airtime for his news reporting. Through his work, he has become one of the most well-known journalists in America.

In addition, David Muir’s professional accomplishments are widely recognized, and a lot of people are curious to find out more about his past relationships and wife.

David Muir’s Wife: Is He Married In 2023?

The late 40-year-old Muir keeps his private life private, but some of his fans think he’s found love.

Despite the fact that David Muir’s wife’s information has aroused interest, he is not now married; in fact, it is unclear what his current dating situation is.

His social media pages are replete with information on his work life rather than any indication of a love engagement.

It might be helpful to note that Muir is happily single as of right now.

Rather, he enjoys the company of his sister Rebecca as much as his own company. He calls his large family of nieces and nephews his “squad,” and he takes great pride in each and every one of them.

He is obviously infatuated with his favorite gun dog, Axel, at home, as evidenced by the numerous adorable pictures of the dog he shares on social media.

He has, however, received his fair share of proposals for marriage. His adoring fans shower him with praise on social media all the time.

But the dedicated journalist leaves little time for love because he is essentially married to his profession.

David Muir Dating History

The World News Tonight anchor has never discussed his romances in public, despite reports of a romance.

But he’s been vocal about a few prominent women who hold a particular place in his heart.

Kate Dries is one of them. She is another American journalist who has worked as a deputy editor at BuzzFeed, Jezebel, and WEBZ.

She currently works at VICE as the features editorial director. Kate claimed to be David’s girlfriend in a post titled Report Indicates My Boyfriend David Muir is a Monster that was published on September 10, 2015.

Dries mentioned a little bit about their first date and relationship in the Jezebel story. She further asserted that she had taken multiple pictures of David.

However a close examination of the text shows that the author was trying to be satirical.

Many seemed to have misinterpreted the work, which led to speculation that they were in a romantic relationship.

That isn’t the case, though. The assertions were never disputed or confirmed by David, and Kate never brought them up again.

As a result, it didn’t take long for it to end, but since they haven’t been connected since, people assumed they had broken up.

Aside from that, American actress and media personality Kelly Ripa is said to be close friends with David.

He frequently shares pictures of them together on social media along with heartfelt comments about how much they care and love for one another. Internet users typically start to assume that there must be more going on between them.

Because Ripa has been married to her actor husband, Mark Consuelos, since 1996, this story did not garner any backing.

Thus, in spite of the general public’s perception, Kelly and David are only close friends.

Other than his purported relationships with Kate Dries and Gio Benitez, David’s supposed relationships with women over the years have not been further documented.

But we’re hoping to learn more about David Muir’s wife and their married life soon.
