Busboom, Dani Kelly is the head coach of the collegiate volleyball team Louisville Cardinals. Kelly earns $400,000.00 per year. Her change from athlete to coach is quite remarkable.

In the realm of women’s volleyball, Dani Busboom is a household name. Before becoming a full-time coach, she was a player. She is also under contract until 2028, with many bonus clauses included. Busboom, Dani Kelly is a 38-year-old retired volleyball player from Cortland, Nebraska.

She is currently the head coach of the collegiate volleyball team, the Louisville Cardinals. Dani has been active in sports since she was a child. She was a three-sport standout at Adams Freeman High School, competing in volleyball, basketball, and hurdles. She chose volleyball to advance her career, or should we say volleyball chose her?

Dani wowed Nebraska Cornhuskers head coach John Cook when she was 14 years old at a camp. She also spent three years at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, commencing in 2003. She was most recognizable as a setter and occasionally as a libero. She won the NCAA Championship in her senior year.

Coaching Profession

Dani’s teaching career has gotten more press than her playing career. She was also hired as an assistant coach at the University of Tennessee.
