He is currently employed as a computer and network administrator in Little Elm, Texas.

He had a strained relationship with his mother. Raquel Welch is an actress.

Growing up, the actor-turned-techie and his sister allegedly had a strained connection with their famous mother. Raquel’s relationship with her children was poor.

Despite her burgeoning media fame, the A-lister admittedly prioritized her job over her spouse and children. She frequently admitted to and expressed regret for “the many, many other times I wasn’t there for Damon and Tahnee.” She went on to say that she couldn’t replace those times and that it had been difficult for her and her children since the beginning.

Though, for the time being, everything appears to be fine with the mother and her children. Raquel noted in her biography about her children, Damon and Tahnee Welch, that they are a source of pride and optimism for her because of the kind of people they are. She stated that her children had always grounded her and given her meaning.

What is Damon Welch’s wife’s name? His Family Life

Damon Welch married Rebecca Trueman, daughter of ex-England cricketer Fred Trueman. On June 5, 1991, the couple married. They married in the Yorkshire Dales at Bolton Abbey. However, the pair had already married in Los Angeles in front of only two witnesses.

Unfortunately, the marriage barely lasted 15 months.

Damon’s ex-wife Rebecca, now in her late fifties, resides in Los Angeles with her second spouse. She is a clothes buyer and stylist who remarried in 1998 to film editor and producer Welborn Ferrene. Damon has two children with his ex-wife and her new husband.

At his wedding, his mother was chastised.

When Damon’s former in-law (Rebecca’s relative) Raquel Welch arrived at the wedding wearing a figure-hugging gown with a plunging neckline, his former in-law (Rebecca’s relative) took issue.

Some visitors, including the bride’s side, accused her of upstaging her then-daughter-in-law by wearing a cleavage-baring gown.
Damon Welch’s Ex-Wife Is On Good Terms With His Mother

Years later, in October 2020, Welch’s former companion, Rebecca, finally shared her thoughts on Raquel’s wedding outfit. While everyone found it unpleasant, she reported from Los Angeles that she donned a gorgeous embroidered jacket over the dress to the chapel.

Trueman noted that all her former mother-in-law did was try to follow English tradition by wearing an English dress and jacket set. Damon’s mother, she added, looked very sophisticated and attractive that day.

However, Damon’s ex-wife said that Raquel’s decision to remove her jacket, exposing her cleavage, caught many off guard.

His ex-wife had a close relationship with his mother, Raquel Welch.

Although Rebecca has not met Damon’s mother since their divorce, she recently stated that Raquel was quite close to her.

Speaking highly about Raquel on her birth anniversary, she stated that she would only wish her the happiest of birthdays since she values the time she has spent with her. Rebecca admired her knowledge and wit as well. Welch’s ex-wife claimed that the former Playboy model was always nice to her.

Trueman also mentioned her sense of humour.

What happened to Damon Welch today? He remarried? What exactly does he do?

Other than the fact that Damon Welch lives in Texas, little is known about him. Among many other things, it is obvious that he has left his Hollywood days behind him. Presumably, it’s been a long time since the son of the most coveted woman transitioned from show business to technology.

Similarly, it is unknown whether Damon is married or has a family of his own. However, given that he is already in his 60s, he may have one or more families of his own.

Damon Welch’s Net Worth

Given his background in technology, he may be doing well financially. It’s a different game to guess whether he’s made a name for himself out of it.

Whatever the case, he cannot be anything near as wealthy as his mother, Raquel, who has a staggering net worth of over $40 million.

Damon’s mother died in 2023.

Raquel died on February 15, 2023, at the age of 82. Her death was the result of a long but brief illness. The precise reason for her death remains unknown.
