Dallas Xavier Barrino is the son of Fantasia Barrino, the winner of American Idol Season 3, which aired in 2004. Fantasia Barrino, the singer and songwriter daughter of Dallas, rose to prominence in the entertainment industry following her victory on American Idol. Dallas is one of her three children that she is now a mother to.

Barrino gained a lot of fans after winning American Idol thanks to her undeveloped singing talent and her inspirational tale of being a teenage mother. Along with her many studio albums, she has also had a TV movie based on her true life experience.

But Barrino was balancing difficult circumstances as she prepared to give birth to Dallas. She was being accused of destroying a marriage and suffering from serious depression, for once.

Barrino had her fair share of disappointments, but she persevered, overcome her obstacles, and is now enjoying the finest life possible with her family. The singer, who is now a mother of three, has embraced parenting and frequently posts images and videos of her children on social media. Dallas, who is ten years old now, weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces at birth and measured 21 inches. When he was born, his singer mother said he was a great asset to the family.

When the singer announced her pregnancy to the audience at a Florida charity event in August of that year, she had expressed her happiness about the then-new baby Xavier.

Is the father of Dallas Xavier Barrino Antwaun Cook?

It’s important to note that Antwaun, a salesman and real estate agent, gets along well with his son Dallas. Barrino’s ex-partner never passes up the chance to wish Dallas a happy birthday.

Fantasia Barrino, the mother of Dallas, and her relationship controversy

It seems that Dallas’ parents did not have a happy beginning to their relationship. Fantasia had been nominated for multiple Grammy awards and had a Broadway part in The Color Purple the year she met Cook.

Cook, however, was a resident of Charlotte, North Carolina. However, he was then married to Paula, a different woman who had two children.

When Paula learned about Antwaun and Fantasia’s extramarital romance in 2010, according to ABC News, she sued Fantasia for “alienation of affection” and filed for custody of her children.

According to the clause, a spouse may legally pursue a third party for allegedly “diminishing” their marriage. Barrino was accused by Cook’s wife of dissolving their union while she and her husband were still together.

In the state of North Carolina, it was lawful. Fantasia and Antwaun, according to Paula, were visiting “bars, restaurants, nightclubs, and the like.” Paula’s lawsuit also mentioned a supposed sex tape that Barrino and Cook had made.

However, Xavier’s mother first denied to the public that she was aware of Antwaun Cook’s marriage. Nevertheless, Barrino testified in Cook and Paula’s child custody case later in November 2010. There, she acknowledged that she had known Cook was married and still living with his wife from the moment they started dating.

This came about a few months after the Lose To Win singer revealed her pregnancy to an audience during a performance.

Fantasia made headlines again that year when it was revealed that she had acknowledged ending a pregnancy that resulted from her and Cook’s extramarital romance.

The mother of Dallas Barrino attempted suicide.

Dallas’ mother and the former American Idol winner made an attempt at suicide in August 2010, just before she testified in the Paula v. Cook lawsuit. She allegedly took this action in response to Paula, Antwaun’s ex-wife, calling her a “home wrecker.”

Cook’s wife Paula filed a child custody suit with allegations of the affair a few days earlier. It appears that footage of the attempted suicide was included on “Fantasia for Real,” Fantasia’s reality TV program.

Following the event, Dallas’ mother was sent to a hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina, due to an overdose of “sleep aid.” Paula eventually decided not to pursue the divorce and to discontinue the lawsuit.

Fantasia’s lawyer claimed the case had “frayed” the singer’s mental and emotional state and that it may have cost her millions of dollars. After her recovery, Fantasia admitted to overdosing on aspirin and sleeping pills on a VH1 Behind the Music (via People) program.

Ultimately, Barrino revealed to Sister 2 Sister magazine in March 2013 that

She continued by saying that she wanted to ensure that everyone else was content, that Antwaun was loved, that Zion was safe, and that everything (was okay). In the present day, Kendall Taylor and Fantasia are now wed.

Dallas’s Level of Wealth Fantasia Barrino, Mother of Xavier Barrino?

Following her victory on American Idol 3, Dallas’ mother continued to perform music and went on to win numerous awards, including gold, platinum, and Grammy nominations. She also had prominent Broadway roles.

That being said, she did at one point have wealth that was at least comparable to a million dollars, even though her current net worth is more of a matter of speculation. For securing the much sought-after $1 million recording contract after competing in American Idol.
