Zion and Angel are the two children of Cori Bush. She reportedly had a difficult background and struggles as a parent.

Bush and her ex-husband lived in their car with their small children for 14 months. This occurred since they lost their income due to being evicted due to an illness that occurred during her second pregnancy.

Sadly, the situation forced her to resign from her position as a preschool teacher.

Bush presently resides in Missouri’s St. Louis. The lawmaker disclosed in May 2021 that she told her doctor about excruciating agony during her first pregnancy, but they disregarded her.

She went into preterm labor as a result and testified before the House Oversight and Reform Committee. Similarly, she stated in a later tweet:

Black women give birth every day, and our children perish as a result of our doctors’ disbelief in our suffering.

The politician blamed the incident on Black women’s “harsh and racist treatment” during childbirth.
