The revelation that Colin Armstrong’s wife’s confidante was complicit in the kidnapping has proven to be significant at this point.

Rich British businessman Colin Armstrong, a former honorary consul, was kidnapped from his estate in Ecuador by robbers.

Colin lived in that ranch house with Katherine Paola Santos, his girlfriend from Colombia; the 78-year-old was saved during a covert operation.

Santos, though, is being questioned by the authorities and is being watched closely since there are rumors that she may have given incorrect information about who she is.

On December 16, 2023, Armstrong—who founded Agripac and is the owner of Tupgill Park Estate—was discovered unharmed following the kidnapping.

From his Guayaquil home, Colin and Katherine were abducted by people posing as police officers, using a black BMW that was subsequently discovered abandoned.

After the kidnapping, Katherine reappeared at Colin’s son Nick’s house wearing a bomb vest and is now being questioned.

Katherine reportedly left the scene, even though the bomb disposal squad took off the vest.

Before Colin’s kidnapping, Katherine shared photos of herself smiling with her partner.

Times Now claims that before their kidnapping, Santos, who is originally from Colombia, shared a lot of photos of herself and Colin on social media.

According to reports, Katherine and Colin have taken travels to several locations recently, such as cruises, safari vacations, and Los Angeles.

It has been revealed that Katherine Paola Santos was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, following the kidnapping of Colin Armstrong.

In addition, she underwent surgery to improve her feminine features; her birth name was Alberto Santos.

Colin was thankfully saved by Ecuadorian police, and according to The Telegraph, nine people are currently being held on suspicion of kidnapping and extortion.

Her involvement in Colin Armstrong’s kidnapping is currently being looked into by Ecuadorian police and prosecutors.
