She had a wonderful connection with both of her parents. Her mother and father were both teachers in the Duval County school system, according to the accounts. They were locals of the Arlington region.

Andy Griffith’s widow is Cindi Knight

In case you weren’t aware, Cindi was Andy Griffith’s third wife. On April 12, 1983, the pair exchanged vows in a private ceremony. At a volleyball match that Andy attended in 1978, the pair first crossed paths. Although they struck up an informal friendship right away, their friendship deepened as Murder in Coweta County was being filmed. They consequently began courting and later wed.

When they first met, Andy still had his second wife, Greek actress Solica Casuto, as his wife. In 1981, he separated from his second companion.

Despite having a huge age difference of 29 years, the pair had a wonderful relationship. Soon after they got married, Andy was discovered to have Guillain-Barre Syndrome, which led to a nerve infection that temporarily paralyzed his legs. Cindi was there for him as a strong supporter and nursed him through the sickness during these trying times.

With her late husband Andy, did Knight have any children

Cindi, regrettably, never had a kid of her own. She is, however, Dixie Griffith’s and Andy Griffith Jr.’s grandmother. The infant and Barbara Bray Edwards, Andy’s first wife, were both adopted.

Dixie is still alive and well, but their son Andy passed away on January 17, 1996, as a result of drinking. At the age of 37, he passed away in Universal City, California, USA.

Before he passed away, Andy Jr. was a real estate representative.

In 2012, her husband passed away.

After being identified as having Guillan-Barre syndrome, Andy’s health gradually declined. He got a quadruple heart bypass operation in 2000. Then, in 2007, he required hip surgery as a result of an accident.

Griffith died away on July 3, 2012, in his Manteo, North Carolina, coastal home at the age of 86.

How Has Her Life Changed Since Her Husband’s Death

As Andy’s wife, Cindi enjoyed some popularity in the media, but ever since his passing, she has shunned the spotlight. She is not currently receiving any information. Additionally, she does not use any social media sites, which isolates her and keeps her out of the media’s purview.

We do, however, pray that she is prospering and taking full advantage of life.

Cindi, Andy Griffith’s third wife, and Dixie, his daughter, are his only living survivors. They are the only candidates who can reasonably inherit his wealth. Considering that, Cindi Knight at least has a current net worth of $30 million.
