Emmanuelle from Auzière, Brigitte Marie-Claude Macron is the spouse of French President Emmanuel Macron. She started as an instructor, working at several top colleges in France. Even though she didn’t win the city council seat in 1989, her husband’s 2017 presidential campaign elevated her in the political sphere.

He suggested naming her the official “first lady” throughout the campaign, which caused controversy and ultimately prevented her from receiving the title or funding. Macron continues to be a prominent presence in French politics and society, actively supporting her spouse’s professional endeavors.

The eldest of the former teacher’s children, Sébastien Auzière was born in 1975 and has gone on to have a prosperous career in market research and statistics. Brigitte Macron Husband

Emmanuel Macron, the 25th President of France, was born in 1977. He had an interesting career before becoming president. The president first went to school, graduating from Sciences Po with a master’s in public affairs after studying philosophy at Paris Nanterre University. In 2004, he enrolled in the esteemed École nationale d’administration to pursue his further studies.

After leaving the Inspectorate General of Finances as a public servant, he went on to work in investment banking at Rothschild & Co. The president entered politics, first working for President François Hollande as his deputy secretary general and then for Valls as his minister of industry, economics, and digital affairs. He established the moderate “En Marche” movement in 2016, which was crucial to his presidential candidacy.

Emmanuel became the youngest French president in history when he was elected in 2017 at the age of 39. In 2022, he won reelection, an uncommon accomplishment in French politics. During his leadership, there have been internal reforms in labor and taxes, along with a focus on pandemic preparedness and renewable energy. Macron has also taken an active role in European and global politics, signing important treaties, supporting EU reform, and denouncing Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Brigitte Macron’s Family And Married Life

The public has been interested in Brigitte Macron’s marriage and family life because of her extraordinary journey. She wed financier André-Louis Auzière on June 22, 1974, and the two had three children together: Sébastien, Laurence, and Tiphaine. The family came to Amiens in 1991 after first settling in Truchtersheim.

When she happened to run into 15-year-old Emmanuel in 1993—her last year as a teacher at La Providence High School in Amiens—her life took an unexpected turn. Laurence, her daughter, had Emmanuel as a classmate in addition to being a student. As their relationship grew stronger over time, she eventually got married to her current spouse in October 2007 after divorcing André-Louis Auzière in January 2006.

Brigitte’s extended family consists of her husband Emmanuel, her three children from her previous marriage, and her stepchildren from her union with the president. She has seven grandchildren in all.

Macron actively supported her husband’s political career. She gave him support during his presidential campaigns and assumed duties appropriate for the First Lady of France. This occurred despite the controversy surrounding her formal title and financial allotment. She still holds a significant position in French politics and society.
