In terms of stature, Steven is 6 feet 1 inch tall.

Siblings and Parents of Steven Piet

Referral Rewards employed Anthony Jr., Steven’s father, as a consultant in the automobile industry. His father worked for a Chicago-based corporation for 25 years as a new car dealer. In contrast, his mother Sharon works as a financial advisor and is an authority in the area. She was a Senior VP Investment Advisor at Podesta & Co. In July 2015, she was promoted to Senior Wealth Advisor at My Advisor and Planner.

He also comes from an educated household. In Madison, Wisconsin, his mother attended Edgewood College, while his father attended Northwood University. His sisters, Natalie Letitia and Antoinette, and Sara J. Piet, who is most likely his sister, make up his family in addition to his parents.

Furthermore, Steven is the grandson of Anthony Pietruszka, also known as Tony Piet, a baseball player. Because his whole surname wouldn’t fit on the scoreboard during the Pittsburgh game, his grandfather simply adopted the last four letters. Let’s move on. Tony played second and third base for the White Chicago Sox in the past. After quitting sports, he later founded an auto dealership on the South Side.

Steven Was An Addict To Movies Ever since childhood

The Chicago native developed an early love of movies. When he was younger, in the fifth grade, he believed that all of the actors in Frontline were in a movie. He was mesmerized by their antics, banter, and overall flair, as well as by the sheer beauty of all that glitz and glamour.

He had no idea how much work and teamwork it took for everyone—from those in front of the cameras to those working behind the scenes—to produce a straightforward piece of work.

Growing up, he wanted to work in the film industry, but he had no idea where to start. All he knew was that he was going to drop an elegant and masterful work, and in order to do it, he needed to take a directing class to shape his latent abilities and direct his energies. He had started off making some independent short films, but it was after he enrolled in college that things really started to alter.

He gradually experimented with many different things while attending Savanah College of Arts and Design. At that time, he concentrated mostly on writing and filmmaking. For him, attending college was like skimming through an encyclopedia. After all, he earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in video study and film.

Steven Piet’s Film and Television Works

The movie enthusiast began putting more effort into his filming in January 2006. Along with his crew in the Chicago Production Industry, he has directed a number of productions including music videos, short films, TV commercials, and other projects.

As a director, he has received four credits to date for the films Uncle John and Ujka Dzon, as well as the television series Briarpatch, The Act, and Channel Zero. Uncle John marked both his first feature film directing credit and his first writing credit. Afterwards, the film won three accolades in all, and Steven received a nomination for Best Director.

In addition, he worked as a cinematographer for the documentary Girl Rising, which had an impressive cast of actors and singers. It was similar to casting directors asking, “How many actors of the highest caliber should we include?” and the producers and directors smile and say, “Yes.” There were top-tier performers in the house for every kind of performance. A class act was delivered by Selena Gomez, Liam Nesson, and Meryl Streep, among many others.

In the documentary, nine girls from underdeveloped nations were profiled. Veteran actors from Nepal, Haiti, and Cambodia, respectively, included Kerry Washington, Cate Blanchett, and Alycia Keys in the narrators’ parts.

However, did you know that when he was working on one of the aforementioned movies, Piet met the actress Joey King, who would become his love? Let’s investigate!

How Did Steven Piet Get to Know Joey King, His Girlfriend?

The two got together on the set of The Act, a famous Hulu series that was inspired by a true incident. Joey played the lead role of Gypsy Blanchard in the show, which Steven produced and directed for two of its episodes.

The two kept quiet until the actress shocked online users by sharing a Christmas photo of herself and Steven. The way the couple was staring at each other in her Instagram photo gave the impression that they were really in love. Furthermore, she was only 19 years old when she performed in the show, and Steven is 8 years her senior.

Though Joey revealed her boyfriend’s relationship on Instagram in 2020, there have been speculations of a romantic relationship between the two since 2019. When they were first spotted at the Harry Potter and Chamber of Secrets movie screening, fans were quick to pick them up. The couple was accompanied by Hunter and Kelli, King’s sisters, so it was a laid-back date.

Joey King accepted Steven’s proposal with a magnificent engagement ring.

Piet proposed to her future bride with a gorgeous diamond ring as their passion progressed into a significant turning point in their union. After dating for three years and playing media hide-and-seek, the couple announced their engagement on February 2, 2022.

The news was revealed when Steven and her fiancé King returned from an adventurous trip to Costa Rica’s waterfalls. It was a cold day, and the Act producer remembered that there was no ambience to create a certain atmosphere. Nevertheless, it was flawlessly flawed for him.

That’s right—imperfect is the new perfect! My wonderful companions. Steven couldn’t have chosen a better time of year to propose to his eternal valentine than now, with American Heart Month beginning and butterflies in full bloom. Dude! Indeed, February is a month of love!

Joey King, Steven Piet’s fiancée, and her relationship with Selena Gomez

Actress Joey Lynn King made her screen debut in the film Reign Over Me at the age of 4. Similarly, her professional high points included Ramona and Beezus, The Kissing Booth, and The In-Between. However, some of her shows include Fargo, The Flash, and Life in Pieces. The sitcom The Suite Life of Zack and Cody included her as well. Yes, the youngsters of the 1990s do remember the show. Guys, isn’t that right?

Hey there! She also appeared in a music video for Taylor Swift. She was the girl in Tay’s song Mean who was teased and shunned by her pals, in case you missed it.

In addition, the young talent costarred in Ramona and Beezus with Selena Gomez, another starlet and Taylor’s best friend. When the film was being filmed, Joey was nine years old and the Naturally vocalist was sixteen. They were inseparable in real life as well, even though they played the sisters in the film. Selena had never had a sibling like her.

Do they still have the same relationship now? Yeah, if you’re talking about the ceaseless giggling and banter they used to have, then no. However, in terms of mutual affection and respect, the answer is unambiguously yes—at least in King’s case.

Joey looks up to her former on-screen big sister, even if time has grown them apart. Even while we adore it when our favorite celebrities and characters share the same bond off-screen, it may also be the case for them. We must acknowledge that they are celebrities with busy personal lives, though.
