Ann Belsky is the late makeup artist and costume designer who was married to actor Ann Belsky. Rick and Belsky were married for only a few years; their courtship ended with Belsky’s death in the early 1990s. They did, however, have two children when they were together.

Rick Belsky, Belsky’s husband, was a well-known face in 1980s humor. Moranis, on the other hand, faded into obscurity by the early 1990s and practically became a bygone character. The absence followed the sudden death of Rick’s wife, Ann.

Learn more about Moranis’ late partner, Ann Belsky, including how long they were together, how she died, Rick’s life after her death, and more.

Ann Belsky, a Canadian, was most likely Jewish.

Belsky is just another famous Hollywoodian who has ruined all off-screen stories to her name. Ann has only a few or two write-ups dedicated to her in the records.

The haziness persists to the point where not even the odds and ends of her wedding or relationship with Rick Moranis are clear. It is thought, however, that she was Jewish and that her ancestors came from Israel.

She, on the other hand, was Canadian.

Ann Belsky Was Supposedly A Costume Designer

Much like her past before becoming Rick’s wife, the internal story of her usuals during her adulthood is mired in the monotonous haziness of whatevs. Belsky, on the other hand, has been described as a costume designer in the past.

Similarly, she was supposedly a painter and a cosmetics artist. To this day, it is unknown whether she worked on any films or had any television credits.

Belsky’s two children are now fully grown adults. The famous kids, like their late mother, are grueling to newshounds because they are properly sly, especially about their personal life.

Belsky’s children were both born in Canada. Ann’s daughter, on the other hand, later relocated to the United States to attend Brown University.

She earned a BA in Arts History and Visual Arts. Rachel Belsky, Belsky’s daughter, is also a former Harvard School of Design student. Rachel is now a businesswoman who is a partner at Rosedale Hospitality Partners, a private real estate investment firm based in New York, as well as the founder and CEO of Stardust, a software development firm.

Ann Belsky’s Cause of Death

Belsky died in February 1991 following a battle with breast cancer, as previously stated. According to other stories, it was due to liver cancer. At the time, the costume designer/makeup artist was 35 years old. Rick and Belsky had just been married for five years when the latter died.

Belsky’s parents, together with Rick’s parents, helped fund an art school named after her in Israel following her death. The Ann Belsky Moranis School Of Arts is part of Israel’s modern Orthodox Ohr Torah Stone high schools.

Rick Moranis, Belsky’s husband, disappeared from Hollywood after her death.

Rick Belsky, Ann Belsky’s widow and actor, opted to take a sabbatical from acting and Hollywood after her death. Aside from his wife’s death, the obvious explanation was that he wished to devote his complete attention to his children. Later that year, in an interview with USA Today, Rick stated,

In ’96 or ’97, I decided to stop creating movies.

The Flinstones actor revealed that since becoming a single dad, he has found it tough to manage his children while simultaneously traveling for film work.

Rick stated that as a result of all of this, he has decided to take a little hiatus. However, the Toronto-born actor confesses that the brief sabbatical developed into a lengthier one. Moranis, on the other hand, claims he didn’t miss acting at all. Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves, a direct-to-video sequel, was one of his final endeavors before taking the leap.

Following that, he would only make rare voice appearances. Brother Bear, a 2003 Disney animated film, was one such example. Rick did receive offers from Hollywood in between his break and Belsky’s widow. The actor, on the other hand, declined to take any.

Ann Belsky’s Husband Is Back In The Movies

Moranis did return to the stage. His first role, however, was not in a film or on television, but rather in a commercial video for Mint Mobile opposite Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds.

Reynolds even took to Twitter to make the announcement. Rick Belsky’s first interview after his return occurred in May 2020 on Disney+ Prop Culture, a docuseries.

Is a sequel to Honey I Shrunk The Kids in the works; Will Belsky’s Husband Return?

Moranis has agreed to return to the Shrunk series as Wayne Szalinski. The first disclosure occurred in February 2020. The film would formally mark Belsky’s husband’s comeback to live-action cinema after a 20-year absence.

The confirmation came months before he featured in a Mint Mobile commercial alongside Reynolds. In terms of the film itself, only a handful or two pieces of information have been released, particularly regarding how Rick’s character, Wayne, will continue in the next sequel.

In early 2022, for example, Josh teased fans with an Instagram post showing the late Belsky’s husband. In terms of the plot, it is said to add a twist to the original storyline. Insiders say that, unlike the original film, the sequel will begin with Gad’s character accidently reducing his own children.
