In 1986, Arnold made her acting debut in the musical-horror film Little Shop of Horrors. She gained notoriety and went on to star in movies like Scenes from a Mall and How I Got into College. She was given the permanent role of Ryan’s Hope on ABC as well as the character of Sharla Valentine in All My Children.

Divorce between Rico Hines and Tichina Arnold

By sharing a sex tape of Rico cheating on her, the Drillbit Taylor actor made the details of her breakup public. Arnold insisted that no one on her team was responsible for the film, yet it ended up going viral. She did, however, admit that Hines had cheated on her previously. She remarked:

I had the impression that he was also expected to serve as my confidant and buddy in addition to being my spouse. Somebody I can trust. When you can’t trust the person you spend the night with, a problem arises.

I was unable to continue to have faith in him. I was no longer able to sleep with him. It also does not turn him into a nasty guy. We all make mistakes, but not in my life, in my presence, or on my schedule.

Arnold continued by saying that she not only excused Hines’ prior transgressions but also rescued herself and stood in for the helpless ladies. Tichina admitted to People that she was considering dating once more but was hesitant to get hitched due to her advanced age.

Tichina Arnold was previously married to Lamon Brewster, and she and the music producer Carvin Haggins have a daughter named Alijah Kai.
