The well-known drag racer and former TV celebrity Kye Kelley’s ex-wife is named Alisa Mote. Kye, her ex-husband, is a contestant on the reality TV program “Street Outlaws: New Orleans.”

People are asking more questions about Alisa and Kye’s personal lives than about their professional careers. So, when did the former couple tie the knot? Discover the details of their divorce as well as Alisa’s relationship status following her breakup with Kye.

On February 18, 1992, in Gillsburg, Mississippi, Alisa Mote was born. Brenda Martin, her mother, and Johnny Mote, her father, are her parents. Mote’s family relocated to McComb, Mississippi, when she was 4 years old.

She also had two siblings: a big brother named John Daniel Mote and a sister named Crystal Simmons. Sadly, in 2021, her brother passed away. On October 28, 2021, Alisa uploaded her profile photo and a brief note in honor of her deceased brother John. The heading says,

The former celebrity couple’s ex-spouse enrolled at Parklane Academy in 1996 and graduated in 2010. Later, Alisa attended Walden University in Minneapolis to pursue a nursing degree.

However, her ex-husband Kye only attended South Pike Senior High School in Magnolia, Mississippi, and the racer didn’t pursue further education after that.

As was already said, Alisa Mote is a licensed nurse. Mote formerly held a Flex-Ability Nurse position at North Oaks Health System in Hammond, Louisiana, according to her Facebook profile.

She is currently a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Frye Rural Health Clinic, a full-service medical facility that provides both primary and preventative care.

In the late 2000s, Alisa and her ex-husband Kye initially came into contact. After several years of dating, they made their engagement public in March 2014.

Alisa and Kye, her ex-husband, got married a year later, in 2015. Even though their wedding was held in a very private setting, one of the guests uploaded their photo while sending them many wishes. The brief message read:

Best wishes to a stunning couple. For the two of them, very joyful. I wish you all the best in life and hope that the tough moments will make you closer to one another. A new life begins, making it the best one you two have ever created. Congratulations from my family and mine to yours, ARC!

Alisa and her then-husband Kye were fairly open about their relationship on social media as well, in contrast to many couples. Her ex-car racer husband sent her a practical joke video in August 2016.

Despite having a great deal of love for one another, their relationship ended quickly.

For around two years, Alisa and Kye enjoyed a happy marriage. However, they parted ways two years after getting hitched, and their divorce was finalized in 2017.

Her ex-husband Kye, according to numerous online tabloids, had an illicit relationship with his coworker Lizzy Musi. Many people also believed that it served as the primary catalyst for their breakup.

However, neither Alisa nor her ex-husband Kye has appeared before the media to provide a detailed explanation of the situation.

After a year of marriage, Alisa found out she was expecting Kye’s child. Her ex-partner posted a status on his Facebook in February 2016. He noted:

Since becoming pregnant, Alisa Kelley has a sound like a 1952 Ford with a 400 big block and a 3/4 cam idling in the background while she sleeps. Every so often, she nails the gas, leaves the car in gear, then lets the gears drop while backfiring. I love you, sweetheart.
