Alessandra Gucci is the daughter of Maurizio Gucci, the late Italian billionaire and former head of the Gucci design firm. Her father was the grandson of Gucci’s founder, Guccio Gucci, and the son of actor Rodolfo Gucci.

She is renowned not just as the celebrity child, but also after her younger sister Allegra Gucci released the book Game Over about their father Maurizio’s untimely death and the unexpected occurrences in their lives. Alessandra’s sister authored the book in response to the negative portrayal of Alessandra in the film House of Gucci.

Patrizia Reggianni, the businessman’s ex-wife, hired a hitman to assassinate him. So, what was the motivation behind Gucci’s widely publicized murder? Was her mother Patrizia mentally ill at the time of her father’s murder? Let’s find out what happened to Alessandra after the family catastrophe. What happened to Alessandra Gucci today? So, here are the specifics on her present location, husband, net worth, and other information.

What Happened to Alessandra Gucci, Patrizia Reggiani’s Daughter?

Alessandra had been through a traumatic experience. Her father, Maurizio Gucci, was slain by his own wife, Patrizia, when she was 18 and her younger sister Allegra was 14. Her mother, Patrizia, was sentenced to 29 years in prison following his death.

Alessandra and her sister Allegra had no idea what would happen in the future because they were both too young when the greatest catastrophe struck them. They were obviously quite close to their parents. But things went wrong for the siblings when their father was murdered and their mother was imprisoned.

Allegra Gucci, Alessandra Gucci’s sister, Breaks Lifelong Silence On Her Father’s Murder

Soon after the film House of Gucci was released, Alessandra’s younger sister made waves, alleging it was weak, spoilt, and entirely untrue. Allegra, on the other hand, stated that her father was a diligent worker and a clever businessman. She also stated that Lady Gaga’s portrayal of her mother was not accurate. According to Gucci, “my mother was a beautiful and elegant woman.”

The film, featuring Al Pacino, was merely a catalyst for Allegra to break the silence. The main factor was the untruths about her family that had been spread. Alessandra’s sister told Corriere della Sera, “I owe it to my father, who no longer has a voice, and to my two children.”

Was Giuseppina Auriemma aka “Pina, the Sorceress” Involved In The Murder?

Giuseppina, a former TV psychic and close friend of Patrizia’s, was arrested and sentenced to prison after the death of Alessandra’s father. To begin, Allegra told Vanity Fair that Auriemma was not a witch, however she said Pina was completely responsible for what happened in 1995. Auriemma first got friends with Maurizio and then eventually became involved with Patrizia Reggiani.

Pina was also the owner of a Gucci store in Naples at the time. When Alessandra’s parents divorced, Giuseppina gradually won over Patrizia’s heart and gained her trust. They eventually became close friends. Silvana, Alessandra’s maternal grandmother, despised Pina and her strong relationship with her daughter Patrizia.

Allegra eventually admitted that Giuseppina heavily encouraged her mother to murder Maurizio. Pina is still known as the’middle woman’ in Maurizio Gucci’s hit and for participating with the murder’s organizer.

For 17 years, Alessandra Gucci and her sister Allegra visited their mother in prison.

In 1992, three years before the murder and imprisonment, Alessandra’s mother was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. But it was actually harmless. During the operation, a huge portion from her frontal lobe was removed. She was never the same after that.

Patrizia could no longer focus on one thing, and the procedure had a significant impact on her conduct. Patrizia murdered her own husband on the steps outside his office on March 27, 1995, a year after their divorce.

Following the spectacular occurrence, Patrizia was sentenced to 29 years in jail for hiring a hitman to murder Gucci in 1998. Following her mother’s incarceration, Alessandra and her sister Allegra visited her in prison every Wednesday and Friday.

According to sources, the sister-duo would bring Patrizia a gift containing clothes, linens, and food every week. Allegra discovered more humanity in the San Vittore jail in Milan while their mother was imprisoned.

Allegra then went on to study law in order to fight for her mother’s release.

Even after years of legal wrangling, Allegra and Alessandra remained hopeful that justice would be served and the custody struggle would be resolved sooner. Maurizio’s youngest child even went on to attend law school at Milan University. She hoped that after learning about court procedures, she would be able to advocate for her mother’s release.

Similarly, she had faith in her mother’s innocence. Allegra, on the other hand, couldn’t figure out who her mother was over the years. In the end, Patrizia stated that she was “not innocent, but not guilty either.” The meaning of “not guilty” alluded to the manipulation suffered by those who took advantage of her vulnerability.

Furthermore, as of 2023, neither Alessandra nor her sister Allegra are said to be in contact with their mother. According to The Guardian, Reggiani stated,

“We’re going through a hard patch right now. They don’t understand me and have stopped paying me. I don’t have anything, and I haven’t even met my two grandchildren.”

A Nightmare: Alessandra Gucci Was Cared For By Her Grandmother

Alessandra was raised by her mother when her parents were divorced. When no one was available to care for her and her sister, they were placed in the care of their grandmother.

They naively trusted their granny, but they quickly learned that Silvana was only there for the money and power that comes with it. Patrizia’s mother even began exploiting them with guilt and guiding others with the financial authority their grandmother had earned.

Suspicious Money Transfer From Alessandra’s Bank Account

Allegra also wrote about the purchase of Villa Innocenti, the sale of the house above Piazza San Babila, and money disappearing in her book. As a result, some dubious transfers were made from her bank accounts.

Alessandra’s sister went to the bank and started going over the ledgers. She discovered that her grandma was concealing a portion of the funds intended for them by shifting the funds to her accounts. Silvana transferred the money without hesitation for years.

The sisters later decided to write mom a letter and ask her what was going on. Their grandmother had a negative reaction. Silvana also continued with the selling of Villa Innocenti. The location of Patrizia’s first permitted release from jail. The villa was paid for by Alessandra and her sister.

They later discovered that the property belonged to one of their grandmother’s businesses. Silvana took everything, leaving nothing for Maurizio’s two girls.

Tax Evasion Penalties

Alessandra and Allegra made news in 2013 when they were accused of tax evasion. According to the charges, they allegedly failed to pay around US$5.7 million between 2004 and 2010. However, the following year, it was shown that the report was fraudulent due to a lack of proof, and they were later exonerated of the accusations.

What Is Alessandra Gucci’s Current Location? She is now living in Switzerland with her husband.

Alessandra and her sister Allegra are now residing in Switzerland after a lengthy battle. Both sisters have begun a new life there with their spouses and children. However, they haven’t revealed anything about their current residence or their husband and children. According to certain sources, Alessandra’s Gucci’s husband’s name is Federico.
