Wesley Snipes and his second wife, Nakyung Park, have one child, Akhenaten Kihwa-T Snipes. Park and Blade actor Snipes had their son Akhenaten in the early 2000s, which was presumably several years before the couple married.

Snipes, Akhenaten’s actor father, has had a tumultuous Hollywood career. While he was once on his way to being one of the most sought-after performers, a string of disappointments and controversies have reduced him to practically obscurity in the film industry. Nonetheless, his legacy is something that people are still interested in discussing.

In addition, the actor still appears in one or two interviews. Despite his years of media presence, outsiders know little about him other than his professional features, such as his wife and children. When it comes to his kid, Akhenaten, he maintains his incognito as well. Snipes has reached adulthood, but people outside of the actor’s intimate group know very little about him.

Is Akhenaten Kihwa-T Snipes Named After An Ancient Being?

Akhenaten was born in the year 2000, but no further details have been revealed. He was received by Snipes and Nakyung a few years before their wedding.

Akhenaten, sometimes known as Echnaton and Akhenaton, was an Egyptian king. His reign lasted from around 1353 to 1336 BC, or 1351 to 1334 BC. Akhenaten was the ninth pharaoh of Egypt’s Eighteenth Dynasty. While Wesley’s kid’s name is inspired by the aforementioned historical figure, it is unclear whether the actor was aware of it when naming his baby or if the late Pharaoh was the genuine inspiration for his son’s name.

Wesley Snipes and Nakyung Park, Akhenaten Kihwa-T Snipes’ parents, have been married since the late 1990s.

Snipes and Nakyung, Akhenaten’s parents, married in March 2002. It’s unclear when and how the pair met, or when their relationship began. Regardless, according to some reports, they met somewhere in the mid and late 1990s.

The pair married in a courthouse in Hackensaw, New Jersey. Akhenaten’s parents married in private. According to sources, the couple did not even dress for a traditional wedding. The ceremony, on the other hand, was extremely formal. Snipes and Park also provided little to no entertainment for the wedding guests. They were forced to call a court staffer as their second witness.

Akhenaten had four brothers and sisters.

Akhenaten is the youngest of four siblings, with one older half-brother. His juniors include Iset Jua-T, Alaafia Jehu-T, and Alimayu Moa-T.

The names of the siblings all follow the same pattern, with the middle names ending in a “T.”

As previously stated, Akhenaten has one older half-brother named Jelani Asar Snipes, who is Wesley’s son from his previous relationship with his ex-wife April Dubois.

Much like Akhenaten, little is known about his siblings or half-brother. As previously stated, all of Snipes’ children live a privileged life, and none of them appear to be particularly visible on social media.

What Is the Job of Akhenaten Kihwa-T Snipes?

Although Snipes and Park’s careers are well-known, what each of their children has done thus far, including Akhenaten, remains a mystery. He is certainly in his twenties, but the young man leaves no trace on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. In reality, the Snipes children are among the most low-key celebrity children in Hollywood. Furthermore, Snipes avoids discussing his family matters.

As a result, what Akhenetan does for a living remains a mystery for the time being. And the obscurity could last for quite a long time. Nonetheless, given he is in his early twenties, there should be no danger in assuming he is at college.

This role was influenced by Akhenaten Kihwa-T Snipes.

Snipes told Fatherly in March 2021 that his children, particularly Akhenetan, provide him with “great acting material.” This was especially true for the actor’s Coming To America character General Izzi in Passenger 57. Snipes went on to say that Izzi is a mirror of his children and their influence and impact on him.

Snipes also mentioned that he drew inspiration for Izzi’s personality from the timing and comedy of each of the kids. All of Izzi’s intricacies, according to the father of five, are the result of his children. The joy and reflection he conveys through the General, according to Snipes, is a mirror of all of his children and their impact on him.

Coming 2 America featured Akhenaten Kihwa-T Snipes.

Although none of Snipes’ children are into acting, they all appear in Wesley’s recent successful sequel, Coming 2 America. However, according to the Expendables actor, his children’s appearance in the film is quite minor, and viewers may have problems identifying each of them.

My entire family is involved. They appeared as a cameo. We’ll see if anyone can locate them…. but they’re all there. Yes, they’re all in the same scenario.

stated the actor, who is now 60 years old.
